Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefits Application (CNEEB)

Every Eligible Form Counts!

Every eligible form that is not submitted means lost resources for our schools or loss of potential benefits to families.

It is important that you complete the application as it may:

  • Qualify you for Summer EBT (SUN Bucks) to help you buy groceries during the summer.  This is worth $120 per eligible student.   See more information below.
  • Help your school bring in money to pay for:
    • Before and after-school programs.
    • Additional paraeducators and support staff.
    • Family engagement staff and activities.
    • Resources for classrooms, teachers and children.

Potentially reduce or eliminate fees for:

  • Athletics participation. 
  • ASB cards.
  • Extracurricular activities.
  • Technology fines.
  • College Applications & Admissions Tests.

You should fill out the application if:

  • Your total household income is the SAME or LESS than the amount on the chart to the right.                  OR
  • You receive Basic Food, take part in the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) for your children.
    OR
  • You are applying for foster children that are under the legal responsibility of a foster care agency or court.

Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)

Highline Public Schools has been approved for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program for the 2024-25 school year. All enrolled students can receive a breakfast and lunch on campus at no charge each school day, regardless of family or household income.

Your Privacy

Only designated staff will be informed of the student's eligibility for the sole purpose of providing additional financial assistance and support. Providing this consent is OPTIONAL and does not affect your child(ren)'s access to no-cost meals.

There are no citizenship requirements for participation in federal Child Nutrition Programs, and immigration status is not requested or disclosed.

SUN Bucks Info

SUN Bucks (aka Summer EBT) is a new DSHS program that will provide qualified students with $120 to use to buy groceries while school is out. Students qualify for the program based on family income or if they already receive certain state benefits.

DSHS is in the process of mailing cards to eligible families. Please call the SUN Bucks Call Center with questions 1-833-543-3230. More information can be found on the SUN Bucks webpage.
