Income Survey

Income Survey

Highline Public Schools has been approved for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program for the 2022-23 school year. All enrolled students on campus can receive a breakfast and lunch at no charge each school day, regardless of family or household income.

The school district is not collecting applications for free and reduced meals. However, certain school funding is based on family income data. This is why it is important for you to complete an Income Survey (available in English and Spanish).

Plus, you might qualify for decreased fees to participate in school programs! Families whose income would qualify them for free or reduced meals may be eligible for decreased fees to participate in other school programs. They are: Technology (Services and Fines), Course Fees (AP Tests, credit retrieval and Running Start), Athletics (Sports fee), and ASB Fees (ASB Cards, events and athletics entrance fees).

In the Income Survey you must indicate each program that you consent to share your eligibility to receive the discounted fee or waiver. Only designated staff will be informed of the student's eligibility for the sole purpose of providing additional financial assistance and support. Providing this consent is OPTIONAL and does not affect your child(ren)'s access to no-cost meals.

There are no citizenship requirements for participation in federal Child Nutrition Programs, and immigration status is not requested or disclosed.

Every Form Submission Counts! Every eligible form that is not submitted means lost resources for our schools. Filling out the Income Survey may help provide:
