Certain school funding is based on the percentage of students who qualify for free or reduced-priced meals. This is why it is important for you to complete the Income Survey (available in English and Spanish). Please help your school receive the full amount of funding available so we can provide your child all the services they are eligible to receive which may include health and wellness services, fee waivers, and before/after school academic and enrichment programs.
Families can also obtain an application from their child's school or the Nutrition Services office. Fill out the application and return it to the school cafeteria or the Central Office Nutrition Services office for processing. Parents will be notified by the district when the application has been processed. Paper applications may take up to 10 days to process.
The USDA is currently funding meals at no cost for all students. Families should still apply for free and reduced priced meals to access other income-based benefits.
