Tyee Goodbye & Groundbreaking

You're invited to attend two events to say goodbye to the old Tyee buildings and hello to the new Tyee High School construction project! Please RSVP below to help us plan.

On Thursday, July 27, enjoy a last walk through campus to say goodbye to the old Tyee buildings and hello to alumni. Drop by between 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (This event already occurred. See event photos from our Facebook album.)

On Friday, August 18, join us to celebrate the historic groundbreaking ceremony for a new Tyee High School at 3:15 p.m. near the old football field.

Tyee Groundbreaking Ceremony

Friday, August 18
3:15 - 4:30 p.m.

  • Near the old football field, behind the school.
  • Speakers and light refreshments.
  • Tents and some seating will be provided.
  • Mementos from the old Tyee will be available. while supplies last -- pieces of the stage floor with commemorative labels!
  • Interpretation assistance available.
  • Ceremony starts at 3:15 p.m.
