Highline High School (HHS) is more than 90 years old and was identified as a top priority for capital improvements. The 2016 bond provides funding to rebuild HHS. Bassetti Architects is designing the new school. Check out the timeline, design work and latest project updates.

Funding for a new 950-student middle school in SeaTac was included in the 2016 bond. Glacier Middle School was built at the site of the former Glacier High School. School opened on time September 4, 2019. The grand opening ceremony is October 24. Find out more and take a look back at progress.

The original Des Moines Elementary School is more than 90 years old. Funding for a new, larger elementary school at our Zenith Park site was included in the 2016 bond. The new school opened on time September 4, 2019. We celebrated at a grand opening ceremony on September 26. Take a look back at our project progress.

Staff welcomed HHS students back to school at the Olympic Interim Site. — Olympic Interim School

Funding to renovate the aging facility at the Olympic site was included in the 2016 bond. The freshly renovated Olympic Interim School is hosting Highline High School for two years, from fall 2019 to spring 2021.
