This pandemic eventually will be history. Our new Zoom experts and digital scholars will return to our school buildings. We are preparing schools for a gradual return from Distance Learning to Hybrid Learning when possible.

We've come a long way, thanks to voter support, with two new schools (Des Moines Elementary and Glacier Middle schools), a renovated Olympic Interim Site and a new Highline High School opening fall 2021.
Designs for new Evergreen, Tyee and Pacific schools are 50% complete. The designs were funded by the 2016 school bond. A future bond will be needed for construction.
