Timeline Recovery Plan
We are pleased to share that the new Evergreen High School remains on track to welcome students in September 2025.
Following the water damage caused by vandalism in May, we’ve been working closely with our contractors, consultants, and insurance representatives to finalize the clean-up and remediation plans. We have been hoping the repair project would not force a delay in opening the new school next fall.
While clean-up and mitigation began immediately, the complexity of the repairs required extensive coordination. Starting next week, additional crews will begin replacing affected interior materials. With a revised project timeline and the addition of extra crews and work shifts, we are targeting a staff move-in date for August 2025.

We want to recognize the dedication of our Capital Planning & Construction team, our contractors, consultants, and the continued support of our insurance partners. Thanks to their efforts, the new school is back on track to be completed on time and within budget by Cornerstone General Contractors.
