Construction Update: Evergreen High School
Construction continues to move forward at the new Evergreen High School, set to open this September.
The main entrance and school office are now complete, featuring a multilingual welcome mural. Six tennis courts are under construction, and crews are working on a new entrance loop and stormwater system.
Crews from Cornerstone GCI and its subcontractors are focused on finishing interior and exterior details to complete the new facility.
The Evergreen High School replacement project, funded with the voter-approved 2022 bond, is on schedule and within budget.

Six tennis courts are being constructed east of the Evergreen Aquatics Center, where the sand soccer field used to be located.
Crew members install a drain that slopes south to manage surface water on the tennis courts.
The tennis courts include a concrete practice wall.
Crews excavated and placed a concrete stormwater detention vault between the new and the existing schools to prepare for surface work on the new main entrance loop and parking areas.
In May, construction crews fenced off the east end of the staff parking lot to expedite progress on the new main entrance loop and parking area.
