Progress Update: Evergreen Fields & Road
Crews are working to complete the baseball and softball fields at the new Evergreen High School. The two new ballfields are expected to open in July.
Currently, synthetic turf is being installed on the baseball field, situated west of the main parking lot and school entrance. Fill material will be added to the turf next. Drainage rock will soon be added to the softball field.
The remainder of the fire access and loop road adjacent to the track is scheduled to be paved in the coming weeks. The sidewalk along the track will be poured next week.
Fencing is ongoing at both fields and around the perimeter of the campus near the park.

This view shows the new Evergreen High School baseball field through the fence behind home plate, with the new school building visible on the right, beyond right field and main parking lot. The new facility was constructed where the original baseball and softball fields were located. This allowed Evergreen students to attend school in the original building during construction of the new school.

Looking west, this is a view of the new Evergreen baseball field, with synthetic turf and directional light poles installed. The softball field is adjacent, further to the west and sits above the street corner.

Viewed from the track, looking toward the south, the fence for the baseball field is visible, elevated above the viewer, with the main parking lot visible on the left (east).

Looking southwest, toward the new Evergreen softball field (center), construction crews use heavy equipment to grade the soil as they get ready to pave the access road. The road and sidewalks between the track and the ballfields will link the west parking lot (on the right) to the main parking lot.
