Wolverines Sign the Final Steel Beam

Wolverines Sign the Final Steel Beam

Video Captures Evergreen Milestone: Beam Signing, Topping-off Ceremony & Construction Progress

Evergreen High School students signed the last steel beam installed as part of construction for the new school building. Check out student Sean Williams’ photos of the signing event in our video that celebrates this exciting milestone with a 15-second timelapse of progress since last summer.

Feel a shiver when the final steel beam covered with Wolverine signatures is swept through the air by a tall crane and secured in place by steelworkers from the aptly named Evergreen Erectors, complete with a small Evergreen tree and U.S. flag. Included are the latest aerial photos of the new buildings.

Evergreen Field Parking Lot Closed for Construction

Less exciting, but necessary: starting Monday, April 29, the west parking lot next to the Evergreen Field will be temporarily closed for construction.  This is part of the school replacement project.

To ensure the new school opens by September 2025, it's crucial to start the parking lot work now. The parking lot closure will last through the summer.

Signs are posted at every entrance to the school, field and pool with new directions for where to park, and drop off and pick up students. See a map with directions for where to park, and where to drop off and pick up students, and learn about community access to the Evergreen Field during the parking lot construction.
