2022 Bond
Planning for the three school construction projects began as part of the 2016 bond, which funded the early design work for Evergreen High School, Tyee High School and Pacific Middle School.

2016 Bond
Planning for major projects began in January 2017. Prior to construction, it takes approximately two years to design and permit a high school; 12 to 18 months for an elementary or middle school.

Highline High School students attended school at the Olympic Interim School in Des Moines for two years, from fall 2019 to spring 2021. (In response to covid, HHS and all students were in distance learning, starting spring 2020.)
