Section 504

What is Section 504?

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is a federal civil rights law that protects students with disabilities from discrimination in any program or activity that receives federal funding, including public schools.
It ensures students have the right to equal access to education through appropriate accommodations that support learning and participation.
