Ms. Ingersoll

Welcome to our class website!

My name is Ms. Ingersoll and I am the teacher for the Intensive Academic Center (IAC) here at Madrona.

The IAC serves students with identified disabilities who demosntrate primary learning needs in the academic domain or in adaptive skills. My support staff and I provide specialized instruction to meet each student's needs. I strongly believe that each child can learn and be successful with the right tools!

About Me:

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended Notre Dame de Namur University where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies in 2011. I also attended NDNU for my Special Education Credential and Master's Degree in Special Education in 2013. I taught in the Redwood City School District for 3 years before relocating to the Seattle area. Most recently, I have been working towards my National Boards for Professional Teaching Certificate in the area of Special Education. I love the Pacific North West and am thrilled to be part of the Madrona Community! I am passionate about teaching, love the SF Giants, and in my free time I enjoy exercising, reading, and exploring everything Seattle has to offer.
