About Facilities Services
Facilities Services is responsible for maintaining, servicing and improving Highline’s 2.5 million plus square feet of building space, located over 600 acres, for our 19,000 students, staff and community. We oversee all maintenance, grounds, custodial, compliance, warehouse, facility use and resource conservation management related matters; striving to improve the physical learning environment for our students, and a more productive workplace for our staff.

Mission
The mission of the Facilities Services department is to ensure safe, clean and healthy learning environments for all Highline Public Schools students, staff, and the community. Through planning and ongoing training, we strive to maintain and operate school facilities that are safe and economically efficient, inviting and sustainable. We do this through responsible stewardship of tax payer dollars, continuous facility improvements and timely facilities services delivery.
