We value the input of our families, staff, and community members. You play a critical role in the education and success of our students.
Relationships are at the foundation of all we do in Highline. We are committed to partnership with our families and community. We have various opportunities for you to share your thoughts and ideas.
School Board meetings are held twice monthly and are open to the public. Community members have the opportunity to make comments to the board at all regular board meetings. Learn how to sign up for public comment. You may also send an email to School Board members.
Families and community members have input on adoptions of new curriculum. Please visit our Instructional Materials web page to check for current opportunities to review and give feedback on new curricula.
We use an online platform called ThoughtExchange to gather input or solicit questions about issues facing the school district. These online conversations allow you to share your thoughts and ideas with us. You can tell us what is important to you and see what others are saying.
In 2024, we launched an annual family survey to gather feedback from the parents and guardians of our students.
