Highly Capable Advisory Team
The goal of Highline's Highly Capable Program is to provide opportunities for students to achieve a greater depth of knowledge, and in some cases, to extend their learning, to reach their full potential as scholars. We strive to provide services that meet each student's needs and capabilities and help students cultivate habits of learning that will contribute to student success in school, college, career and life.
We are looking for family and community members interested having conversations with us to help us understand what would be best children identified as highly capable.
The Highly Capable Advisory Team is a group meets four times a year for an hour, usually in the late afternoon. The meetings will be held remotely on Zoom until we can safely meet in person. The work of the team is to provide input on current and future highly capable programming and related efforts.
