Learning for Students in Quarantine

In the 2021-22 school year, some students will need to be remote for periods of time due to quarantine or illness.

When students need temporary remote instruction, here is the learning support you can expect. Families will determine the level of participation based on their student's health.

Attendance will be determined by evidence of learning on Seesaw or Google Classroom.

Remote Situation

How students will learn

Individual Quarantine

Periodic check-ins on a schedule mutually agreed upon between the teacher and student/family

Communication via email, phone, text, Zoom, Seesaw or Google Classroom to facilitate student participation and progress

Student will complete assigned work via Seesaw, Google Classroom, iReady, instructional materials, other online activities or independent learning activities as determined by the teacher.

Classroom or School Quarantine

Students in the classroom or school will be assigned to temporary remote learning.

Students will follow the class schedule with their teachers and classmates.
