Now Providing 7 Days’ Worth of Food
School meals are a convenient and healthy option for all families during distance learning. And, weekend meals are now available! We have meals available for ALL children--meals are FREE to any Highline student and all youth 18 years and younger.
Our Nutrition Services Department is now providing weekend meals with both meal kits and daily service. Meal kits include seven days’ worth of food, breakfast and lunch. Friday, daily meal pickup, will also include food for the weekend.
Families must pre-order meals using our online pre-order system. You can choose a weekly meal kit or daily meals, not both. Please complete your order by 6:30 a.m. on the day of pickup for either meal distribution option.
Weekly meal kits are available for pickup on Mondays only. Weekly meal kits contain frozen items, whole fruit and produce and two ½ gallons of milk.
Daily meal pickups are offered at 70 locations at various times. Daily meals offer a vegetarian or meat option each day. Hot entrees will occasionally be available through daily meal service and indicated with an asterisk (*) on the menu. Cooking instructions will be provided or can be found online. Please see our Nutrition Services website for service times, locations, menus and more information.

New COVID-19 Testing Site in Tukwila
A new, high-volume FREE testing site for COVID-19 is opening October 6 in Tukwila. Early testing is important to help prevent COVID-19 from spreading to friends, family and the community.
Seattle & King County recommends that anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or close contact with someone who has COVID-19 be tested right away. Stay home and away from others while you are waiting for test results.
People are encouraged, but not required, to pre-register for an appointment to save time and speed up the testing process. There is no charge for testing. Bring your insurance card and driver's license if you have them. No one will be turned away if they do not have insurance or a driver's license. Language interpretation is available at testing sites.
The Tukwila testing site is located at the Church By the Side of the Road.
3455 South 148th Street
Tukwila, WA 98168
It opens October 6 and will be open Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
