Information on How to Setup Your IPad

Highline Public Schools is transitioning to a Single Sign-On (SSO) tool called ClassLink, which gives students access to a dashboard with all district-approved educational apps. All Google applications as well as any district wide apps will be accessed through ClassLink. All student Chromebook and Windows issued devices will now use the same login as ClassLink. After login all Chromebooks will open up directly to the ClassLink LaunchPad, displaying all their digital tools.

How to Connect a Device to the Internet

Here are step-by-step instructions to connect a device to the Internet using an open or secure Wi-Fi network.

How to Setup a Desktop with Internet Access

How to Use a Hotspot

A Hotspot provides connection to Wi-Fi through a cellular data connection. Many Phones and Tablets can function as a HotSpot (Wi-Fi + Cellular) when you don't have access to a Wi-Fi network.

Important: If you are using a personal or non-district provided Hotspot, check with your phone provider to know how much data you have per month or if it is unlimited before setting up the hotspot.

District provided hotspots will provide 10G of free high-speed LTE data per month. If usage exceeds 10G per month data is still unlimited at 2G.
