One way to keep our schools safe and open is to offer free COVID-19 tests to students, staff and household members. To make it easier and faster to get a COVID test, we are launching a new consent form that can be used for the entire school year. We encourage all families and staff to complete the form now, so if and when you decide to get a test, you are ready.
Highline Public Schools leaders made the difficult decision to postpone the Highline High School Community Grand Opening and Alumni Reception events planned for October 21 and 22.
Now you can register for limited-capacity, self-guided tours available on October 22 and 23.
If you are on Facebook, why not log on Monday, October 18, at 7:30 p.m. for a Facebook Live event to provide information about the Highline Education Levy?
Schools now have the option to send families a weekly summary on Fridays informing you of any cases reported in your school during the past week.
Read first-hand stories from nurses, counselors, social workers and other staff whose positions are funded by the local Highline Education Levy. The levy is up for renewal on November 2 ballots.
