Our community-led Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC) members plan to recommend to the school board on June 26 that the next school bond include rebuilding Evergreen and Tyee high schools and Pacific Middle School.
This summer, North Hill Elementary and White Center Heights Elementary schools each will get an additional permanent building housing new classrooms and restrooms. Early site work began in late May.
Ongoing hard work and dedication are paying off at Hilltop Elementary and Raisbeck Aviation High School. The schools have been honored as State-Recognized Schools for 2017-18 through Washington State's new school recognition program.
On Wednesday, May 15 the Highline School Board approved the adoption of new social studies and math curricula. Students will begin using the new instructional materials in fall 2019.
