Virtual Community Meetings
Dr. Duran is launching his first year in Highline with a districtwide listening tour to hear from students, families, staff and community members. On October 17 and November 3, Dr. Duran will hold virtual meetings that will include information and an opportunity to ask questions about the Highline School Bond on the November 8 ballot. Attend a virtual community information meeting, so you can be an informed community member and voter.
Brat Trot
Join Dr. Duran and the Highline Schools Foundation for a family-friendly, fast and (mostly) flat 5K around the streets of Burien, plus a 1K for kids, on Saturday, October 1. The race finishes at Town Square Park in downtown Burien and the inaugural Burien Oktoberfest. The school with the most affiliated runners will receive a $500 grant from the foundation.
