Highline Public Schools offers a variety of high quality, early learning opportunities for children who reside in the Highline community. To be eligible to enroll for the next school year, children must turn 3 or 4 by August 31, 2023.

Apply to Highline's preschool programs through ParentVUE. Completion of this process indicates your interest in a preschool program, however, it does not guarantee a place in a preschool program.

Highline's PreK & Elementary Success team hosts professional learning events for the early learning network (Early Learning PLN). Anyone in the Highline service area who provides an early learning experience for children in settings such as preschool (district and community), childcare centers, in-home care, or Play & Learn are welcome to join us. Did You Know?
Currently enrolled Highline preschool students will be automatically enrolled in kindergarten when eligible. No registration is required!
You will hear about your student’s school assignment in the spring. Placement typically occurs at the neighborhood school based on your address.
If you have concerns about your preschooler's development, we offer monthly screenings. Parents are encouraged to take advantage of this free service.
