Highline Public Schools (HPS) offers a variety of high quality, early learning opportunities for children who reside in the Highline community. In order to be eligible for preschool, children must turn 3 or 4 by August 31, 2020.
Applications for our preschool programs: ECEAP, Community Peer, and Montessori, are now available! Please see PreK Program Information below for details.
Due to COVID-19, HPS staff are not currently working onsite, however families can reach staff by phone or email throughout the spring and summer.
Highline Public Schools recognizes the importance of early learning in the success of all students and continues to expand the opportunities available to families of children birth-5 years.
Our programs reflect the diverse community Highline serves by providing high quality, equitable early learning experiences designed to support kindergarten readiness.
The organizations below (both preschool and childcare) have committed to partnerships with Highline. Their efforts include participating in shared professional learning, using aligned district resources, shared recruitment efforts, and collaboration around kindergarten transitions.
If you have concerns about your preschooler's development, we offer monthly screenings. Parents are encouraged to take advantage of this free service.
