Highline High School implements the Districts reduction in out of school suspension goal with an In School Suspension (ISS) program. The following outline provides parents and students with the protocol and procedures for students in ISS. Our goal for students assigned to ISS is to stay in an academic structure that supports their academic progress and have an avenue for reflection about their behavior with an emphasis on restorative justice.
