Get Ready for Kindergarten Fall 2017

A North Hill student works with a teacher to identify letters in the alphabet during Kindergarten Jump Start. Do you know a child who will be five years old on or before August 31? Now is the time to register for kindergarten.

Families who register early will receive a free book and a kindergarten readiness kit that includes pencil and paper to practice writing, alphabet flash cards to practice identifying letters, and a mini counting collection to practice counting.
To register, please visit your neighborhood school during regular school hours.
Once enrolled, students will be able to attend free kindergarten readiness programs, like PreK Play and Learn (happening now), Kindergarten Jump Start (August 21-25), and events at their neighborhood school.

Students must be registered for kindergarten to attend these free programs and events.

To help you prepare your child for kindergarten, we've created Kindergarten Readiness Guidelines. You don't need to complete this checklist for enrollment -- it's just a guide to help you with at-home activities.
